Investor stewardship is at an inflection point.
Around the world, asset owners and managers are adapting to shifting priorities and evolving regulations. While some firms are expanding teams and resources, others are turning to external providers or new technologies. At the same time, engagement priorities are broadening - from climate transition and biodiversity to AI and board effectiveness - alongside longstanding issues such as executive pay and shareholder rights.
At Glass Lewis, we believe it is important to understand how investors are approaching these challenges in practice. To capture those perspectives and share meaningful insights with market stakeholders, we are conducting our first-ever Investor Stewardship Survey.
By gathering input from a broad range of institutional investors, this survey aims to:
- Better understand stewardship approaches across regions and firm types
- Illuminate common – or uncommon – challenges in engagement, reporting, and resourcing
- Surface trends that are shaping responsible investment globally
What to Expect
The survey takes less than 20 minutes to complete and is open to both asset owners and asset managers. All responses will be anonymous. The survey closes on Friday, December 5, and participants will receive an advance copy of the report - including insights to help inform and strengthen stewardship programs - in mid-February.
