Onboarding Q&A with Heidi Little, Glass Lewis' VP of Operations
Will it be a lot of work to switch my voting to Glass Lewis?
Not at all. The process is a much lighter lift for the client’s team than many expect. There are just three primary points in the onboarding process where the client needs to be directly involved: completing some brief documentation, reviewing and confirming your custom policy, and testing an SFTP site with your IT team if you’re sending holdings.
The Glass Lewis team does the rest of the work on your behalf. We’ll provide training on Viewpoint, and you’ll be ready to vote with confidence.

How do I ensure all my accounts and ballots will be transferred?
If you’re transitioning your voting from another established provider, we’re familiar with their formats. We know the exact report you need to download—and then let us take it from there. We’ll fill out the Custodian Bank letters for you and match your existing voting setup to our templates for your verification.
Best of all, once we have your list of master accounts, we’ll audit everything and highlight accounts to review. What a great opportunity to head into the season knowing that everything is set up exactly how you want it!

What support will I have after on-boarding?
Your Client Services Manager – and Policy Analyst, if you have a custom policy – are part of the onboarding team. They’re there to completely understand the ins and outs of your setup from the very beginning. As soon as the onboarding project is done, the Client Services manager is your day-to-day person going forward, from training to continuous support throughout the year.
