As Country Head, Australia, Stanley Soosur will lead CGI’s business activities, manage customer relationships in Australia, and oversee sales activities throughout the APAC region. Stanley has been with CGI Glass Lewis for over 13 years in a variety of service, relationship management, and sales roles. Stanley will report to Dan Concannon, Glass Lewis’ Chief Commercial Officer.

“I am excited to lead this next phase of CGI’s growth in Australia and Glass Lewis’ expansion across the APAC region,” stated Stanley. “I look forward to leveraging my deep understanding of CGI’s customers to ensure we continue to develop innovative solutions to meet their evolving investment stewardship needs.”

As Vice President, APAC Research and Engagement, Philip Foo will oversee the Sydney, Tokyo, and San Francisco research teams that cover the APAC region. “Glass Lewis has recently invested heavily to expand our research capacity across the region to meet increased investor demand for governance research,” stated Philip. “I look forward to guiding these teams as they look to identify material governance risks in our customers’ equity portfolio holdings.”

Current CGI General Manager, Daniel Smith will depart the company on February 1, 2021 to pursue another venture.

“Stanley and Philip’s extensive industry knowledge, customer focus, and local research team capabilities reinforce our commitment to providing valuable governance solutions to our customers,” stated John Wieck, Glass Lewis Chief Operating Officer. “We are excited for them to build upon Dan’s significant contributions from his long tenure at CGI Glass Lewis.
