2014 Governance & Remuneration Forums

For institutional investors, company directors, regulators and executives

As sponsors of their annual Governance & Remuneration Forums, Guerdon Associates and CGI Glass Lewis are delighted to announce programs have now been released for the events to be held in both Sydney and Perth.

Speakers and panellists include prominent non-executive directors, institutional investors and industry bodies such as the Australian Council of Superannuation Investors (“ACSI”). The Sydney Forum will open with an introduction from CGI Glass Lewis Director Aaron Bertinetti, followed by a discussion of global governance regulatory updates by Glass Lewis CEO KT Rabin. Mr. Bertinetti will also open the Perth Forum, followed by a session led by Allens Partner Andrew Pascoe examining the use (and potential misuse) of the recent “2 Strikes” law.

Panel sessions at both Forums will then address major corporate governance issues that have arisen in addition to remuneration issues. Please see link above for a full list of topics and speakers for this year’s Forums.

The Forums will build on the goodwill, progress and outcomes achieved in previous Forums and provide for a frank and practical exchange of views between board directors, company executives, regulators and institutional investors.

As usual, sessions will include a panel discussion and Q&A, and the Chatham House Rule will apply to facilitate frank and open debate.
