Chief Policy Officer
Prior to joining Glass Lewis, Bob McCormick was the Director of Investment Proxy Research at Fidelity Management & Research Co., which he joined in 1997. At Fidelity, he managed the proxy voting of more than 700 retail and mutual fund accounts, holding 4,000 domestic and international securities worth in excess of $1 trillion. Prior to joining Fidelity, McCormick was a staff attorney at Keenan, Powers & Andrews and Prudential Securities Incorporated, both in New York City. McCormick is an attorney who earned his law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law after graduating with honors from Providence College. He serves on the International Corporate Governance Network’s Cross-Border Voting Practices and Securities Lending committees.
Managing Director M&A and Quantitative Analysis
Prior to joining Glass Lewis, Warren Chen was an Associate Director at UBS' Technology Investment Banking practice, where he focused on the communications equipment industry and advised companies on various corporate finance issues. Before joining UBS, Chen was an associate in Arthur Andersen's Global Corporate Finance Group. Prior to his career in finance, Chen was a research engineer at Boeing's Commercial Aircraft Group. Chen is a graduate of MIT with BS and MS degrees in Aeronautical Engineering. Chen also earned an MBA from University of California at Berkeley's Haas School of Business.
Vice President of Proxy Research
As Vice President of Research, David Eaton manages Glass Lewis' research department.
Mr. Eaton has held multiple positions at Glass Lewis, including U.S.
research analyst and Director of Glass Lewis' Common Law research team
(covering Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and South Africa).
More recently, Mr. Eaton was AVP of Compensation and ESG Research,
responsible for the company's compensation analysis globally,
with oversight of the firm's say-on-pay policies.
In this role, he also oversaw environmental, social, and governance (ESG) research and proposal analysis.
Prior to joining Glass Lewis in 2004,
Mr. Eaton worked as a research analyst for GovernanceMetrics International.
In 2008, Mr. Eaton joined Mercer Consulting and managed their Global Executive Remuneration Research and Insights
team for two years before returning to Glass Lewis in 2010.
Mr. Eaton holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Haverford College and a master's
degree in business administration (MBA) from the Yale University School of Management.
Research Analyst
Prior to joining Glass Lewis as a research analyst, Mark Grothe worked at Glass Lewis as a research-assistant intern while he completed his graduate program. He holds a master's degree in accounting, a master's degree in finance, and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Colorado at Denver. He is currently enrolled as a candidate in the Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst programs.
Senior Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Analyst
Prior to joining Glass Lewis, Ms. Keatinge worked on various issues of
corporate governance and corporate social responsibility at the
Colorado Public Employees Retirement Association (Colorado PERA) and the
California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERs).
Ms. Keatinge has also acted in a variety of roles, including social media manager,
scribe and author in the 2010 Yearbook, for the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN).
Ms. Keatinge holds a BSBA and an MBA with a concentration in Corporate Social Responsibility
from Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.
Associate Vice President, European and Emerging Markets Policy
Prior to joining Glass Lewis, Carla Topino worked as in-house counsel in the legal and corporate affairs departments for Italian automotive company Graziano Trasmissioni S.P.A. and Italian fashion company GFT Turin. At these companies, Topino focused on a variety of corporate matters, including acquisitions and joint venture transactions; she also assisted with international contracts. Topino has a master's degree in corporate law from the SAA-Business School of Turin, Italy and a law degree from the University of Turin, where she graduated summa cum laude after completing her thesis on takeover bids. Topino's native language is Italian. She is also fluent in English and French.
