  UX Front End Developer

  The UX Front End Developer will be in charge of creating visual user interfaces that exhibit simplicity, clarity of thought and ease-of-use. This role specifies overall user experience, navigation, paradigms and UI screen layout wireframes, information architecture maps and task flows.

  Duties include:

  • Understanding of visual design capabilities, including composition, layout and information hierarchy
  • Experience and a working understanding of how to apply user research data
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, and Fireworks ideal
  • Assisting content creation using HTML
  • Troubleshooting HTML layouts
  • Troubleshooting PDF layouts

  Required Skills

  • Bachelors Degree (Computer Science preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Experienced with design communication tools such as OmniGraffle, Photoshop, Illustrator etc
  • Understands web-based and client/server architectures, including how systems interface with each other
  • Knowledge of API and REST
  • Experienced with Eclipse IDE, CVS
  • Passion for design and ability to effectively share your point of view and expertise with project team members
  • Possesses working knowledge of web frameworks/technologies and database design
  • 3+ years of HTML, jQuery, CSS, JSON
  • JAVA, PHP and Coldfusion experience is a big plus
  • Experienced designing sites for tablet and mobile devices
